Scheduling
Please note that we typically book projects 3-6 weeks in advance. You’ll want to keep this in mind for planning purposes so that we can get your project scheduled as soon as possible.
The process generally starts out with an inquiry through the quote request form, after which we put together a detailed proposal for you with several options to choose from. Once you receive the proposal, we can discuss it further in order to address any questions you may have, and to decide on the best plan of action for your site.
After deciding that we are a right fit for eachother, a signed contract and 50% deposit secures your spot on our development schedule.
The sample milestones on this page are based on that start date.

If you are like most of our clients, you may be asking the question, “How long will it take to develop my website”? It is difficult for us to provide an exact answer to this, as time will vary depending on the complexity of the project, how large the website is, and how quickly we receive feedback and needed material from you. All things considered, most websites can be finished within 4-6 weeks. Because it is our main focus to partner with our clients, we will do our utmost to work as a team. There are several variables that will affect our ability to launch the project on time. For example, if you would like us design and develop the website while you will be providing the content, the turnaround time will be significantly shorter, provided we are supplied with the content 3 weeks prior to launch date. If our team will be developing content, as well as the design, the development time will most likely fall within the 6 week period. Our main goal is to help you launch your website as soon as possible. Because each project varies depending on its complexity, we have laid out some milestones to give you a good idea of what to expect. Project Overview: 1 WeekWe have some wonderful tools in place that will not only help us get a good idea of the scope of your project, but will also assist us in getting back to you as soon as possible. If you are like most people, you may not know exactly what you need. Our quote form assists in asking the necessary questions we’ll need to define the overall scope of your project. Once we receive the quote, we will get in contact with you within 2 business days. Quote Approval: Once we discuss the overall scope of your project and decide on a plan of action, we will send you an initial invoice which will include the website development contract as well as a summary of the project. You will then be asked to accept or decline our quoted price. Once approved, you will be prompted to pay a 50% deposit which will reserve your start date within our development schedule. All payments are processed through PayPal. Initial Design: 1-2 weeksOnce your start date arrives, we will begin the initial design. All of the design aspects will be discussed during the project overview. At that time we will also request links to other sites and discuss elements of those sites that you like/dislike. This will give us a good idea for the overall design. Content Integration: 3 days - 1 weekEstimating a timeframe for this milestone can vary depending on the number of pages you are having us develop for you, and we receive all of the content for the site. For example, if you have a 1-8 page site, we can have the pages completed within 1 week. On the other hand, a 30 page web site will likely take closer to 3-4 weeks to complete. Ideally, if you will be providing the content we will need the content 3 weeks prior to the completion date. We’ve had clients that have not gotten the content to us until a few days prior to the completion date. Late content and material submissions are the type of things that delay the project completion date. If we do not receive the content 3 weeks prior to the completion date, the completion date will then be set back. Unfortunately, we will be unable to move other project dates around for late content submissions. We do our utmost to honor our clients by sticking to the development schedule. If we do not receive the content 3 weeks prior to completion date, the launch date can be moved back as far as 30 days. Initial Design Review:We will send you a link to a live demo of the website. Once you’ve reviewed the initial design, you will have the opportunity to offer feedback or request changes. It is best to get back to us within 1-2 business days. Once we receive feedback and revision requests, we can typically make the changes within 2-3 business days for simple changes. Major changes to the design or requests for an entirely new design concept can take up to 1 week. We will continue fine tuning the website design until we have your approval. Of course, if you have not submitted the content, or if you frequently make revisions to previously approved content that you had already provided to us, that will slow down this stage as well. Website Launch: 1 WeekOnce we have your final approval for the website design, we will send you a final invoice for the completed work. We do require final payment for the final invoice before transferring everything from our server to your server. Once we receive the balance, we immediately get to work transferring the website over to your web server. After the transfer is complete, we will run final tests to ensure that everything is functional. Once we verify that everything is working, this completes the website launch, making it “live” to the public. Web Site Maintenance: 2-3 Business Days to 1 WeekWe offer minor changes to the final website design for 3 business days after the initial launch. Once we receive the requests, we will complete the changes within 2-3 business days. Larger changes can take up to 1 week or more, depending on what you need to have done. Please ask us about our Maintenance Package where we will update your web site for you on a regular basis. Alternatively, we also offer hourly maintenance if you only anticipate needing infrequent updates on an as-needed basis. You can request updates through our request form. |
